Who is Y’lan Noel ?
Y’lan Noel is an American actor, born on August 19, 1988. In the HBO TV show Insecure (2016–present), it was notable for playing Daniel King. For the 2018 horror movie The First Purge, he played a leading role.
Noel was born in New York City, Brooklyn. His family moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia, he was born more in Queens. He comes from Panama. He began studying at Morehouse College and went to New York City University.
He was sent to Los Angeles by the School of the Arts Table. Noel ‘s role in insecurity came to Noel in 2015.
“I was anxious about playing Daniel, I’m fond of being around people …. but I’ve always felt a little uncomfortable, well, insecure about the people I have crushed. Daniel does not seem to be so uncomfortable … Daniel is incredibly optimistic and goes for what he wants.”
He describes Daniel as being the opponant of him. Noel played Dmitri’s leading role during The First Purge in 2018, which he found to be incredibly difficult, when he said, “I feel I began to physiologically relate to these fictional characters and what they would feel if they survived the Purge.
