Who is Madonna ?
The American songwriter and actress Madonna Louise Ciccone born on August 16, 1958. Since the 1980s Madonna has been known as the “Queen of Pop,” and has been known for its ongoing reinvention and multiple forms of art production and songwriting.
Throughout popular culture, she has widened the limits of creative expression and remains entirely responsible for every aspect of her career. She created both critical applause and controversies in her works, which include social , political, sexual and religious themes.
Madonna is also referred to by many artists as an influence. Born in Michigan and brought up in 1978, Madonna moved to New York to pursue a career in contemporary dance.
Madonna signed with Sire Records in 1982 and released her eponymous debut album next year after playing as a guitarist, guitar player, and vocalist in rock bands Breakfast Club and Emmy.
She was a successful album with international bestsellers Like a Virgin (1984), True Blue (1986), Ray of Light (1998) and Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005). During her career, Madonna has been number one in many ways: “Like a Virgin” and “Music,” “Like a Prayer” and “Vogue” as well as “Take a Bow” as well as “Frozen.”
Her appearance in films such as Desperately Seeking Susan (1985), Dick Tracy (1990), A League of Their Own (1992), and A League of Their Own (1996) further enhanced her popularity. Although Evita won a Golden Globe Award, she got weak reviews for many of her other films. As businesswoman, Madonna formed Maverick (including the Maverick Records label) in 1992 as an entertainment company.
Certain ventures include fashion brands, books for girls, fitness clubs and movies. In 1998 she founded the Ray of Light Foundation and Raising Malawi in 2006 she contributes to different charitable organisations.
