Who is Keanu Reeves ?

Keanu Charles Reevesborn 2 September 1964) is an actress , singer, film maker, and director from Canada. Reeves was born in Beirut , Lebanon; he grew up in Toronto , Canada. Until making his mainstream film debut in Youngblood (1986), he began acting in theater productions and television films.

Reeves gained recognition in the science fiction comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) in his breakthrough role as Ted “Theodore” Logan.

This was followed by a supporting role in the comedy Parenthood of Ron Howard, the Point Break of 1991, a sequel, the Bogus Journey of Bill & Ted, and the indie film.

My Own Private Idaho where playing a street hustler won critical acclaim for his performance. .He had a supporting role in Dracula (1992) by Bram Stoker, who was nominated for four Academy Awards.

The Speed (1994) action thriller, in which Reeves was cast as a police officer, achieved critical and commercial success and helped Reeves gain popularity further.

He followed this with a series of box office failures in films including: Johnny Mnemonic (1995), Chain Reaction (1996), and The Last Time I Committed Suicide (1997).

His success, though, was well received in the supernatural horror The Devil’s Advocate (1997). Global stardom followed soon after in the science fiction thriller The Matrix (1999) with his leading role as computer hacker Neo.
