Helen Adams Keller was an American author, activist and teacher. She was the first deaf-blind to receive a bachelor's degree in arts. Keller's story and her teacher, Anne Sullivan, became popular through Keller's memoir, The Story of My Life, and its film and stage adaptations, The Miracle Worker.
