Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, born on 18 September 1974, is an American artist, actor and presenter, and best known as “Exhibit” by Xzibit.

Following the release of his debut album At The Pace Of Life on October 15, 1996, Xzibit began his career in music.

The album generated critical as well as commercial success, with Billboard 200 at number 74.

It also included the single “Paparazzi,” which peaked on Billboard Hot 100 at number 83. This success allowed Xzibit to secure a Loud Records recording contract later in this year.

The second album 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz was released by Xzibit on 25 August 1998 which peaked at No. 53 on the Billboard 200. The album also included the single “What U See Is What U Get,” which resulted in # 50 on the Hot 100 Billboard.

The success of the album also drew the attention of West Coast rapper Dr. Dre, who was the executive director of Xzibit’s third album Restless released on 12 December 2000.
